About Me:
Born: December 28, 1961 in Vienna, Austria
I have been playing actively with one of the best-known Country Bands in Austria, the "Country Buskers", since 1985, touring all over Austria, inc. appearances on television and radio as well as on all major festivals in Austria. The Country Buskers play a wide variety of Country Music, from the traditional songs of Hank Williams, Merle Haggard and Johnny Cash to the new sounds of Garth Brooks, Vince Gill, Kathy Mattea and Alan Jackson. In addition, we always add songs of non-country artists like Eric Clapton, J.J. Cale and Bob Dylan. I am also proud of the fact that the band performs several songs I have written over the years.

Beside playing with the Country Buskers I am also involved in several projects with different musicians, incl. Steel Guitar Solo Shows, Acoustic Music, Western Swing and Boogie. Between 1995 and 1998 I was also involved in the organization of Steel Guitar Shows in Austria. These shows were highlighted by the appearance of famous international players like Frank Baum (Germany), Jan Visser (Netherlands), Lionel Wendling (France), Bob Strum (U.S.) and, of course, Steel Guitar Hall of Fame Member and ex-Texas Playboy Herb Remington.

My Equipment: Currently I play an MSA D-10 (8+7) and a Fender D-10 (8+4) through an Emmons Amp, using a Goodrich Super-Bro. I also own a 10-string ABM Waikiki Lap Steel, an original Dobro and a Peavey Session 400 Amp.
Influences: My major influences on the Steel Guitar are Jimmy Day and Lloyd Green. Both of them are unequaled when it comes to musical taste and the sense to play exactly what the song needs. These players prove that I am really going for the traditional and melodic styles of Country Music.
My Motto: "THERE'S NOTHING LIKE A GOOD OLD COUNTRY SONG"!
