Trying to bridge the gap between common headphones and expensive systems, cat-x decided to develop a cost effective hand-held monophonic speaker system for museums in cooperation with aws designteam. The result was a craftable reduced design out of a aluminum tube and two cover plates for the daily use in exebitions.
Since the product was launched in early 2011, it has been implemented in numerous museums throughout Europe.<br />
