STACK 2001
Design: Adam Wehsely-Swiczinsky, Klaus Berghold, Esther Peischl
Stack is a modular furniture system, that is reduced to just one element. The elements are stacked and stuck together with industrial Velcros.
Just like with the well known danish building block for kids, you can build your own world as you like. Stool table, shelf and DJ desk are just examples. The “C” form makes it possible.
CONSTRUCTION
The element is made of a very light aluminum sandwich construction. In mass-production, STACK would be made in of plastic by rotation-molding. Initially Stack was designed for the Wiener Jugendzentren.
