A Hard Day's Night

The film was premiered on 6 July 1964 at the London Pavillon and has mainly the following plot:
The Beatles travel from town to town to play their music. After each gig they travel to their next one by train. But this time nothing's the same as ever: Paul's got an old gentleman (William Brambell) with him who turns out to be his grandfather. But dear grandpa is not easy to take: He tends to stir up people and so doesn't make it easy for The Beatles either. First he stirs up roadmanager Norm (Norman Rossington) and his assistant Shake (John Junkin) against each other abnd finally also Ringo against the rest of the band, very much to the dislike of the paranoid show-director (Victor Spinetti).
For the Beatles being a dark horse as long as film were concerned at that time the movie was filmed in black and white due to financial reasons.
