Magical Mistery Tour
This television film was the first project by The Beatles after the death of their manger Brian Epstein.
It was first screened on christmas day in 1967.
The film flopped and became to what the Beatles-parody group The Rutles made of it:
A kind of Tragical History Tour as the Rutles put this like. The project was Paul's idea and The Beatles directed the film and also
produced it.
The plot: A group of adventurers of their own kind (among them Ringo and his aunt Jessie) makes a bus journey of its own kind.
While on their way they are carefully observed by 5 magicians (The Beatles and roadmanager Mal Evans).
