Thank you for taking the time to get to know us better.  Actually, I have constructed this site for our family and relatives especially for younger generation. It is our great pleasure to have you here visited our homepage.  I hope you enjoy this site as many others do.  This page was under construction for long time and now I thought I would take this time to tell you a  bit about myself and my family.  Let me introduce myself, my name is Steephen Chevookaran belongs to a middle class family, presently settled in Vienna (Austria) since 1992. I am basically from India, a native of Thalore (Thrissur Dt.) a small village in Kerala about 8 kms. from Thrissur town.  I don’t think it is relevant to describe about my childhood and secondary education here since it is more or less same for all.  I am a diploma  holder of Maharaj’s Technological institute, Thrissur (Polytechnic) where I received my diploma in electrical engineering.  Later I did a diploma in computer programming and PC applications from Computerpoint, Thrissur and one advanced course from International Christian university, Vienna.  I am currently working as an EDP operator in Cristini Forming Fabrics Vienna, a leading austrian company manufacturing forming fabrics for paper industry.  In my duties I am responsible for installation and maintenance of programs, database analysis, network administration etc.

My wife Alphonsa (D/o. Late Panthallookaran Kochuvareed and Elia) is from Perambra, a small village nearby Chalakudy town.  We have been happily married since 1992 and got two daughters whose names are Fenna Maria and Sinda Elsa.  Alphonsa is a nurse and currently working in University hospital Vienna.  Our elder daughter Fenna Maria who was born on 28. January 1995 is studying in 5^th standard at Simonsgasse lower secondary school and younger daughter Sinda Elsa born on 12. August 1998 is studying in 2^nd standard at Meissnergasse primary school, Vienna.  Being a parent is one of our most important jobs in the life.

I believe that life is complex but many important things are quite simple.  I accept people the way they are and young enough to enjoy learning new things.
