Teachers

 

Van Porter		 Van „The Man“ Porter, has appeared in several shows on Broadway and on tour ( f.ex. „Black and Blue“  and „Riverdance“). He teaches RHYTHM TAP in a traditionel and a very modern version and is known to be a patient and humourous teacher. He has already taught at many workshops all over the world and is giving classes regularly at the Broadway Dance Center in New York.

Gil Stroming		 Gil Stroming Gil Stroming was a member of the famous Tap Dogs on Broadway and will teach the FUNKY Tap Dogs style in Vienna too. His young and dynamic style have brought him lots of fans at many workshops (f.ex. in Brazil). He too is a teacher at the New York Broadway Dance Center.

Rick Ausland Rick Ausland is the creator and director of the group „Ten Foot Five“. 
Has been dancing and drumming since the age of 3. He has danced in countless national competitions winning gold medals in tap and jazz. Rick has appeared in "Crazy for You," "Anything Goes," and "All That Jazz." 
His teaching style is mainly HIP HOP TAP and his classes wantgood condition!

Gene Medler		 Gene MedleriGene Medler is founder and director of the highly acclaimed North Carolina Youth Tap Ensemble, founded in 1983. His teaching credits include St. Louis Tap Festival and the Saratov Music Conservatory in Russia.
He is a dancer and will teach choreographies.

 		 Sean Kilkenny from Galway, Ireland, was involved in the original Riverdance and also assisted with making the Riverdance Show. He has four titles (twice Connacht Champion and twice All Ireland Champion) and has toured the world with a large show called „A Taste of Ireland“. Sean has been performing with famous groups like „the Chieftains“ too.

Claudio Figueira
Claudio FigueiraClaudio Figueira is one of the leading dancers of Rio de Janeiro. With his ensemble he has been performing all over Brazil, Australia and the USA. He will teach SAMBATAP in combination with a wonderful musicalstyle.

Pascal Hulin is the artistic director of this festival and well-known as a teacher in workshops and festivals all over the world. His classes are full of energy and fun and his students will always take home a complete choreogaphy.
