INTRODUCTION
Dear reader, surfer
Actually this should have become a printed book, but unfortunately to publish a book is not as easy as I thought it would be! And because I put a lot of energy in this project, I did not want it to get rotten in a drawer I decided to open it to the general public via the internet.
If there is a publisher reading this right now I would be very happy to get an E-Mail from him/her!
But now back to the subject:
I would like to start with a few personal words, which I, as a reader, have always missed in the "common" books. After a first few doubts and a lot of prejudices about guinea pigs, I have now fallen in love with them.
Although they are not as intelligent as a dog and also not as affectionate as cats, they are really worth loving creatures.
Especially if you take a little time to watch them, you will surely discover characteristics and behaviors which you would never have guessed.
No matter if single, couple, or in a herd, there's always something to watch in the cages.
I do not only want to bring you a little closer to this sweet animals, I would also like to show up deplorable state of affairs and prejudices and maybe help a new generation of guinea pigs to get a better life.
But now enough introduction.
Please take your time to learn this (and also maybe that) about our little friend, the guinea pig!
