SETTLING IN
O.K., you finally made it!
You have got your Guinea pig at home in it's cage.
Now you should allow it to take a break!
Leave you animal alone and let it discover it's new surrounding and get used to it.
In the first period of time all of you have to get used to each other. This should be happening in a smooth and gentle way.
Try to approach the animal very slow and bring it some goodies (i.e. carrots, salad, parsley, etc.) and soon it will know that you do not want to harm it.
Tell your kids, that a guinea pig is no toy, but a living being and that they have to treat it good.
If you treat your animal responsible minded and show that you love it, you will soon get lots of love back from it.

Parsley is always good for a treat.
