| Steve Borden - Sting and LeAnne Belle - Belle M Reporter: Welcome back to Peachtree Morning. Ok, I'm going for a stretch here...you might say our next two guests are Atlanta's version of Beauty and the Beast.... Ok they are actually two actors starring in the movie "The Real Reason" F Reporter: I wouldn't say beast around him. He is sitting in close proximity to you and you know what he does. M Reporter: I know what he does! He's a nice guy F Reporter: He is a nice guy....It (his movie) premiers tommorrow at the Peachtree International Film Festival please welcome LeAnne Belle and Steve Borden. M Reporter: See did you get that? Belle.. Beauty.. Belle.. and The Beast. F Reporter: I wouldn't put up with that if I was you. Sting: It's my day off, don't worry about it. M Reporter: We're not allowed to rip anybody on their day off. Sting: We're doing the acting thing now. F Reporter: We normally know you as a wrestler... as Sting.. normally, so I just have to clarify that so that if you do decide to jump up and take care of Tom real quick. M Reporter: Oh is that like a wish or something! Sting: I've dealt with Tom before we got that straight now. F Reporter: Lets talk about "The Real Reason" LeAnne? Belle: Well the real reason is a romantic comedy it is set in a restaurant, it happens in one weekend. It's about 6 men who try to gain the affection of one woman. M Reporter: That would be you I presume. Belle: That would be me. I would be the woman. And they are going to all stretches, they are committing crimes from one place to another, and the woman that is Anne in the movie, her biggest downfall is that she has the tendency to fall in love at the drop of a hat. So not only are they trying to get her affection, she is one at a time becoming attracted to them. M Reporter: And your (Sting) part in the film you play one of two waiters, another friend of mine plays a waiter in a restaurant there, and you are battling for her affection as well. Sting: That's right, and we do some of the stupid crimes. It's funny. M Reporter: Name some. Sting: God, there are just too many examples to give.. um....we try to rob a restaurant. The guy that we work for we try to rob and steal a bottle of wine to get her and win her affection. And I spend the whole time saving up tip money along with Pat or "Buckey", I'm "Sparky" to buy a sail boat. And the reason why I am so proud of this whole thing here is because it is a complete departure from wrestling. You're not going to see me the action hero, fighting and beating people up. M Reporter: Are you a little goofy in this movie? Sting: I'm goofy, I have a personality.... Belle: Acutally he is a poet Sting: I thought I was a rambler.....we'll talk about that later.. but anyways, I'm sensitive, I'm vulnerable, I'm not Sting the wrestler... M Reporter: It's all right. Sting: Thanks Tom. M Reporter: Well I have to say that we found it here in "Creative Loafing", and the review says "Steve Borden of World Championship Wrestling fame and LeAnne Belle is the woman that they all want to love, the result is one good looking feature, that was made entirely with local talent, all of which got paid", but they gave you great reviews Creative Loafing. Sting: We're hoping for big things. M Reporter: It's at the Fox Theatre, tommorrow at 9:45 p.m. Belle: That's right, the movie was picked up by the Peachtree International Film Festival, and it will be showing Friday night at the Fox Theatre, starts at 9:45. It is the closing ceremonies of the Film Festival. Sting: Which makes it kind of special. Belle: It's a very special night. Sting: Other films... Big films too, Miramax with uh...who's the star of "The English Patient" the woman? Anyway.... she opened up the festival. This is a big festival, it's international, and ours is special enough to end off the showcase at the Fox Theatre. M Reporter: Like I said, "The Real Reason" has it's big premier, the finale of the 4th annual Peachtree International Film Festival tommorrow night at the Fox and this is an all Atlanta production so please go out and support it. LeAnne and Sting.... uh.. Steve, sorry I'll wash your car sir. Goodluck Thank you for being here, we know you're still wrestling but maybe it may go all the way out to Hollywood with it. Sting: Thank you. |
