EL SEGUNDO, Calif. -

Sting traded autographed photos Thursday with former football superstar Joe Montana ... and the ex-San Francisco/Kansas City quarterback couldn't have been happier with his acquisitions, especially for his daughter, Alexandra, a diehard wrestling fan.

Sting and Montana were among numerous celebrity signers here at the DIRECTV Programmers Fair, held at its corporate headquarters, minutes from Los Angeles International Airport on East Imperial Highway. Also attending were Ernest "The Cat" Miller and Nitro Girl Starr. Plus, Alan Thicke, NBA HAll of Famer James Worthy and Steve McKenna of the Los Angeles Kings, among others. "Talking with, then posing for photos with Joe Montana was incredible," Sting said. "Joe Monana was the best quarterback of all-time, and that says a lot when you consider all of the great quarterbacks in (NFL) history. "Joe Montana was the best ever." The 6th-annual Programmers Fair attracted about 2,000 employees, celebrating DIRECTV's 6th anniversary. The WCW Superstars each signed for two hours. Montana told of his interest in wrestling dating back to the 1960s, even mentioning old-time names, as did James Worthy. Montana's daughter, Alexandra, even wrote a recent book report on The Rock's autobiography.
