Furrytails

Kitsune

This is an earlier picture of Toonie Fox, where she had no hair. I planned to give her some from the beginning, but that is not so easy. I wanted to add some fur too ( what is a furry without some fur?), but i had to face the truth: That stuff is really beyond my abilities.
Toonie at a forest-road. I like the Picture very much, took it at my desktop. I planned to add another figure too, Petra Panda, a red-panda-girl, but she wasn´t finished that time. I will add Pictures of her as soon as possible.
Toonie at the lake. It´s a remake of an older Picture, that i don´t want to add here, because the quality isn´t worth it. Of course there are some failures. The thumb of the left hand is sticking in the knee (ouch!). I´ll try to repair this, sometime.
Another "Toonie at the lake" picture. The grass rendered forewer, and after that (of course) i saw, that the bath towel was looking like a plastic-sheet :(
So i changed the texture and renderd it again - without the grass, and and composited it after that. That´s, why the grass at the foreground doesn´t cover the towel: another pic crying for a remake.
So many people say, that it´s kinda sexism, showing Toonie naked. What are they thinking, for heavens sake?! Furries are never naked, because they have a fur of course! So, bowing to the pressure of the "weird, prude real world" i made her a bathing-suit. But that is nuts: Now you can´t see, that her body is made of one piece, and that IS the really special thing of her. Everyone can make a character, made of pieces, like a puppet!
Here Toonie got a japanese "keikogi", kinda training-suit for martial arts. She will do that stuff. The reason, Toonie is standing like that so often, is, that she is created that way, for decreasing troubles later at animation. And this is also the ideal pose for adding clothes.
Well, as i said: Here she goes! Wide garments are real serious stuff at 3D. There are special plug-in-programs to control things like that, but even then somtimes you have to deal with failures, you probably can´t repair the easy way.
Here Toonie does some "Iaido" training somewhere in a japanese dojo. The Picture looks nice, i wanted to get the blade somehow parallel to the sheath, just for the optical effect of perfection, but when i finished it, i saw, that she seems to be somehow weak in the knees :(
Here i tried out something with lights. Finally it became very moody. It looked somehow lik a CD-cover, so i finished it like that. I would like to hear the music too :)
Now for something different! Toonie, here hand-drawn at a rendered slot canyon. To make animations with rendered backgrounds and hand drawn characters would be an idea, worth to think about, wouldn´t it?
Well, there ARE other characters! Mimi Mausohr for example. In europe there live bats, that are called so. I don´t know what´s their name in english, rigid translated it would be "mouse-ear". Mimi is to be a bat, that has much fun to be taken for a vampyre, forcing that mistake with behavior and make-up, but in RL she´s out for insects.
Yes, working on a character is taking much time, and so you can think about things like that.
Mimi has no "bones" yet, so i can´t alter her pose
Toonie waving good bye. Nothing more to say.
