Der Tag, an dem Indien die Farbe wechselt.
Rote Straßen, rosa Kühe, kollektive Ekstase. In ausgelassenen Farbschlachten wird alles und jeder eingefärbt. 24 Stunden mitten im Holifest, einem Frühlings-ritual, bei dem alle Schranken wie Alter, Kastenzugehörigkeit und gesellschaft-licher Status aufgehoben sind.
In rasanten Tempo, zu einem Musikremix mit Bollywood-Flair geschnitten, vermittelt der Film "Farbrausch" das Gefühl mitten in der feiernden Menschen-menge zu sein.
Bei der technischen Umsetzung wurde kein klassisches Filmmaterial verwendet, sondern mit digitalen Fotoserien gearbeitet.

The day when India changes color.
Red streets, pink cows, collective ecstasy. Everyone and everything gets colored in a wild and crazy paint battle.
24 hours celebrating HOLI, a ritual marking the beginning of spring, where caste, age and status don't matter.
The film is cut to a music remix with bollywood flair in a frenzied tempo, and conveys the feeling of being in the middle of a celebrating crowd.
In the technical production a digital series of photos is used rather than actual film.
