APED is right now in a beta state, it still does not have the same functionality as the original. Some parts have to be completly rewritten. Despite of this beta state, work gets done with it much quicker, and the GUI is much better.

Right now there are only some screenshots available:

edit dynamics, all types are done in a single window, when using functions the number of parameters and the types are shown.

in the status line you always see coordinates and dynamics of object under pointer

easy object selection; you can see how many objects are selected and in which layer they are located, one click and they are all moved to the seleted layer, for each layer you can choose if objects within this layer are selectable, and you can turn on/off each layer just by one click.
