Scooch | Reunion @ G-A-Y
Over 3 years after splitting up, Scooch are reforming for a special one night only event, the Gone but not forgotten party at London's G-A-Y club.
The event will take place at London's Astoria (near Tottenham Court Rd tube station) on Saturday 17th January. Check out G-A-Y's site for more details.
Scooch had a string of Top 20 Hits in 1999/2000 with their singles:
When My Baby
More Than I Needed To Know
The Best Is Yet To Come
For Sure
Unfortunately the album didn't sell well and Scooch were eventually dropped by EMI.
Our Jase is back at London's West End. He'll be starring in the musical Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at London's Palladium Theatre from 13th January for 5 weeks.
The former S/A/W star gave his West End debut back in 1991 playing the role of Joseph in Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical Joseph And The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat right after leaving the PWL label.
Jason has returned a few times since then starring in the play Night Must Fall and performing as Frank 'N' Furter in The Rocky Horror UK Tour, during the show's 25th Anniversary.

Rachel MacFarlane | LMC vs U2
Former Loveland singer Rachel MacFarlane is filling in for Whitney Houston, who has refused using her voice sampled in the up and coming dancefloor hit Take Me To The Clouds Above by LMC vs U2.
This is a legit remake of the Mash Up Kids bootleg that teams the melody from U2's "With Or Without You" with vocal samples from Whitney Houston's "How Will I Know". The U2 sample is cleared but Whitney's is not - hence the lines are re-sung by Rachel MacFarlane. Rachel is best known for singing on the N-Trance hit "Turn Up The Power" and all the Loveland hits that were released on PWL.
The single is due on AATW on 26 Jan including mixes by LMC, Mash Up Kids & Flip & Fill.

Kelly Llorenna | This Time I Know It's For Real
Kelly Llorenna has been brave enough to cover one of Donna Summer's most successful singles, the Stock Aitken Waterman written hit This Time I Know It's For Real.
Donna's version was a hit in 1989 (the S/A/W year) and got to number 3 in the UK charts. It was also a Top 10 hit in the USA.
The dance/trance cover version by Ms Llorenna will be out next month on the AATW label including the Almighty remix.
Sophie Ellis Bextor | Yes Sir, I Can Boogie
Sophie Ellis Bextor has wasted no time and released the 2nd single off her new album Shoot From The Hip. The song is called I Won't Change You and this time she has included a b-side her fans have been dying to have on CD.
It's a cover version of the old Baccara hit Yes Sir, I can Boogie
and it has been co-produced by Jewels & Stone with Ian Masterson & Terry Ronald.
A dodgy live recording from last year's New Year's Eve G-A-Y performance at London's Alexandra Palace has been circling the net and now you can have it in all it's digital glory on CD.
After meeting at the London premiere of the film Party Monster the Pet Shop Boys and Pete Burns decided to collaborate on Pete's upcoming CD. So the Boys gave them their unreleased song Jack & Jill Party.
The recording of the song already took place at the end of last year and a single is tentatively scheduled for release in February.
It is unclear whether this will be a Dead Or Alive single or Pete Burns's solo project. The single may be released on the Pet Shop Boys' label.
A few of Cliff Richard's albums have been remastered and will be re-released as low budget CDs this month.
This also includes the 1989 album Stronger, which contains the Stock Aitken Waterman written and produced single I Just Don't Have The Heart. The instrumental version will feature as a bonus track.
