First of all, before looking here read the Manual!!
F.A.Q.
The Plugin fails to load!
Use the latest DirectX-Version( 8.0 at least ). I wont courage u to use a Beta-Version however,
the M$-Releases are buggy enough!. Download from here
The Game tells me the MemPak is damaged?
Thats normal if U created a new MemPak-File. If U dint it says that the
Data on the MemPak got corrupted. Most Games allow to "Repair" (read: Format) it.
Theres also the Option to format it within the Plugin
Why is the RumblePak not working?
RumblePak needs a GamePad thats Force-FeedBack capable, and is assigned to
atleast one Control / Modifier. N64-PC Adapters that dont support Force-FeedBack in
the Drivers wont work.
Also the way a N64 drives Rumble-Strength is a torture to the Gamepad drivers, its likely
it wont feel like the real thing and possible that its soo weak U wont recognise it.
To test if Rumble works, goto Devices Tab where You can adjust Rumble-Strength and
press a Gamepad Button( aint workin on "Direct-Rumble" setting ).
Can I transfer Pokemons into Pokemon Stadium?
Yes, either by using an Adaptoid and REAL Gameboy-Catridges, or with using an
regular Save from an GB-Emulator - Savestates wont work. Transferpak-Emulation was added by
MadManMarkAu to the (open) Source of the Plugin
Im using a Adaptoid with "Direct-Rumble"..why are the Effects not like on a real N64?
"Direct Rumble" will produce very authentic Rumble-Effects, but only if the Game
runs with the same speed like on a real N64. Its that way cause if the Game
runs on different speed the Intervalls between Rumble-Commands are longer( slowdowns )
or shorter( faster than N64 ) than they should be.
Project 64 crashes when I close the rom with PJ64 version 1.5
This is strangely not happening to all People.
Seems to be problem with the 1.5 version of PJ64, and not the fault
of the plugin. Currently, there is no woraround for this problem. If this is
unacceptable, using an older version of PJ64 (version 1.4) will solve this
problem.
