The company is named after its founder Karl Nedbal. Born on April 23rd, 1946 in Vienna, he initially learns the profession of toolmaking, but stays in touch with the gunsmith trade from the beginning. So he turns his hobby into his profession with an additional gunsmith graduation. With extraordinary inventiveness and skilfulness he makes a name for himself in the arms construction, modification, repair and restauration domain and finally decides to start his own company in 1990.
