Visit to Crete 2002

On my visit to Crete in March/April 2002 I took some photos of the beautiful flowerage of this island. I had the good luck that it was raining a lot in this year, although it was a little bit cold, I had a wonderful insight to the spring of Crete.

Kallikratis Gorge

Agios Pavlos is a small village at the seaside in the south of Crete. It is famous for its geological formation.

Gortys (Gortyna) was one of the most important towns in ancient Crete and existed up to the Byzanthinian aera.

Situated near Matala, on this beach an ancient harbour can be found. Please save the nature and behave quiet on this beach!
