Keanu Reeves and Joel Silver over MATRIX II & III
In a current interview with the American Website SciFi Wire said Keanu Reeves more about its role in the two matrix continuations and to its suggestion that the "first film of the birth, which of death" would act second of the life and third. Because in the first film Neo (Keanu Reeves) had to only find out whether it is really the long expected chosen one. "now he knows the answer to it, or he believes at least that he knows, said her" Reeves to it. And in the next film new challenges wait for Neo, which will out-provoke its new forces fully and completely.
But the two continuations play no longer only in the matrix - the fight continues also outside of and concerns also the Zion, the last free city of mankind. And here Neo is nearly powerless, or he believes it at least. Because the Orakel prophesies to it that still another decision waits for it, which will concern the further future of humans. Meanwhile the fights continue, and also over the relationship between Neo and Trinity (Carrie Anne Moss) one is experienced more.
Producer Joel Silver promised with a press conference in Australia that the special effects in the two continuations will not only exceed the original, but will be in a revolutionary manner new. "with the first film we had not very much money and the Wachowski available of brothers had very exact conceptions of it, which special effects wanted to have them. Which came out thereby then was the so-called "Bullet time", thus trick-technical "freezing" of a scene, which we used exactly four times in the original. That was a rather simple effect and that the film was in the cinemas, it also immediately everywhere was hardly copied. And one took over not only the effect, but usually also still equal the whole around, thus also our Design and the Choreographie.
