the movie "The Blues Brothers". The Blues Brothers Band comprised Steve Cropper,
Donald Dunn and Matt Murphy as well as some other legends. The Blues Brothers
Band and the Blues Brothers movie are legends themselves! And here's the next

Several organizations have contacted the Brothers and asked if the band is willing to perform in order to raise money for the Tsunami-victims in Asia. The Brothers expressed that they're definitely willing to do so. We'll keep you updated on the forthcoming activities.!
RELEASE OF NEW CD DELAYED (still)!
Who could have thought of this? The collapse of one of Europe's largest retail chains ("LIBRO") causes a further delay of the release of the new CD "From The Bottom". Negotiations with other retailers have begun and everything should be settled within a few weeks. Make sure to get back here in order to keep on being informed..

NEW BACKGROUND-SOUNDS
You might have found out already, that we've added a number of new background sounds to the site. All sounds are embedded in the background and should open automatically. Of course you'll need speakers to hear 'em. These short examples are already taken from the forthcoming album "From The Bottom". US PROMOTION TOUR:
Jake B. and Brother Will Blues recently returned from their promotional US-Tour which became a huge success again. One major aspect of this tour was, to get some feedback of various producers and studios about the recordings of the forthcoming CD "From The Bottom". The quality of the sound and the overall performence has been highly acclaimed by all of them. The new CD will be manufactured in Los Angeles for the US market and distributed through various retail shops on the west coast. Further details can be read here in a few weeks.
Beside promoting "From The Bottom", the two brothers met with numerous musicians for sessions in various clubs in Las Vegas, San Francisco and Los Angeles. Some colleagues will occasionally come to Europe to join the band for a few guest appearences in fall.
