A couple of days ago Blizzard officially announced Diablo III. There is not even a release date yet, but it seems the world is going crazy again just as it did ten years ago. Here at this site, the pages for Diablo, Diablo II, Hellfire, and Diablo mods have all risen to the top of the most viewed, only The Sims 2 stoically refuses to be dethroned. When Bethesda announced they were going to make Fallout 3 four years ago it didn't cause a similar commotion.
By the way, just as the original Fallout was released a couple of months after the original Diablo, it seems that the third instances of the two game series will have similarily vicinated release dates.
I bought RPG Maker XP as soon as it became available in English, but it's quite a while since I did anything with it (most of the RPG maker pages were last updated three years ago, I notice). Playing Wizardry 8 has rebewed my interest in RPG making, so I installed it again and gave the page a thorough update, listing most of the changes as compared to RPG Maker 2000 and what I think about them.
