Paranoia

The more I learn about Czech games, the more interesting it gets. The first new game for today is Paranoia, a Dune II-style real-time strategy from 1995. The interesting thing about it is that it predates Command & Conquer (by about a month) and Warcraft II (by three or four months), and these were the two games that made the genre popular.

What else is new

The second new game for today is Lines '98. As the name suggests, it is an implementation of the Color Lines concept, with some interesting variations. The menus are Russian only, but I've explained the few relevant choices.

While I've followed the policy of putting the name of the author into the page's title for every game with a single author for some years, there was no way to look up the other games of a given author, except for those designers and programmers about whom I made a page, usually only when I have some biographical material.
