In March 2003, I laid my hands on my first working Mac, a Performa 630. In my excitement I uploaded a list of every bit of Macintosh hardware and collectible I owned. Together with an older link list it formed the base of the Orchard. In the two years that followed my collection grew significantly, I played lots of Macintosh games, took screenshots and reviewed them.

Then I lost interest. Since May 2005, I have only very rarely booted up a Mac, and there have been few genuine updates to this site. In September 2011, after I discovered FlamingText, I gave all the pages graphic headers, and of course I once again checked all the links. Otherwise, there's little new.
