Over the years, Beyond Columns has proved remarkably popular. It was cloned for Atari ST in 1991. It is found on a wide variety of download sites. Nathan Meyers' Columns, however, is nearly forgotten and difficult to obtain (except, of course, here on this site).
Later Brad P. Taylor released an improved version with slightly altered gameplay he called Fallout (not to be confused with the Fallout RPG, of course). This, too, could not match Beyond Column's popularity and is relatively little known.
