All in all, this is a very well done remake of the all-time classic, and a fitting one too, seeing that Chip's Challenge emerged from the first ever handheld, the Atari Lynx. A few questions, however, do remain open. Why is Chip suddenly a cool kid with a baseball cap? Wasn't he always the quintessential nerd? Are RPG-style shields really a good replacement for flippers and fire boots? And why is the whole thing so damn big?
