Ding dong, the witch is deadan unusual name for an Othello game, and an unusual presentation, too. Nearly all computer implementations have kept at least some of the presentation elements of the board game:
- The board is green, divided into 8×8 fields by black lines;
- Columns have letters, rows numbers (just like chess);
- The pieces are round, and in black and white.
- Alternately, if Reversi is the model, the board is gray, and the pieces are red and blue.
Nothing is retained here. The pieces are red and green, and square; the board is blue, and has nine dots per square, maybe the most unusual aspect of the presentation.
