WHAT IS DonDen?
Have you ever felt frustrated when playing "Tic-Tac-Toe" or "Gomoku", and wished you could have moved opponent's token as you like? DonDen is a solution which is designed to remove your frustration, or to replace it with much more puzzling one; you must move opponent's token you choose every turn, and yet you have even slimmer chance to beat the computer!
RULES & HOW TO PLAY
- Each turn consists of two phases, namely "placing phase" and "moving phase", with the exception of the first and the sixteenth turn which have "placing phase" only.
- Every turn starts with "placing phase", where the player places a token by dragging from the "tray" to a vacant area in the board. The player can choose between "Horizontal-Vertical" and "Diagonal" token (more on this later).
- If the player arrange four tokens in a row (either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally), the player wins the game.
- If the sixteenth turn is played and neither player wins, it's a draw.
- The player then proceeds to "moving phase". The player must move one of the opponent's tokens by dragging it to the next vacant area; If the player can move none, the player loses the game.
- "Horizontal-Vertical" token can move in a horizontal or vertical direction only, and it flips into a "Diagonal" token. "Diagonal" token can, likewise, move in a diagonal direction only and flipss into a "Horizontal-Vertical" one.
- If four of the opponent's tokens come in a row after moving, the player loses the game.
- If neither player wins, the game proceeds to another player's turn.
