This is a list of games using EGA mode Dh, 640×350, 16 colors out of a palette of 64. Unlike in the table for mode Dh, I have here included games that supported VGA as well. I did not include Dark Seed, which used mode 10h, but, as far as I know, required VGA. Under VGA, the 16 colors can be chosen from the full 216,000 color VGA palette.

Before 1989, only a few pioneers used EGA. The first and most remarkable game is Cyrus, which shows a mastery of this mode rarely ever achieved again.

1989 was the first year mode 10h was widely used, and it was the year this mode was used most. More 10h games were released in 1989 than in any other year.
It is a unique phenomenon in PC history that mode 10h was dropped in Europe before it was dropped in the US. The drop in the number of 10h games released in 1993 compared to 1992 is only due to European developers abandoning it.
