Your starbase has been infiltrated by alien attackers. In Electro Man, you must journey through dozens of screens filled with exciting puzzles and run-jump-and-shoot action! You'll be addicted to this 256-color game from Epic MegaGames and Xland instantly. Requires 386 or faster processor. Supports Sound Blaster and Adlib music cards.
There's really not much to say beyond this blurb. Like Targhan, this is not a scrolling game, you jump from screen to screen, which also means enemies can never leave their screen. I liked the clear-cut graphics with solid colors and no textures, a style that was rapidly going out of fashion at the time. Compare the graphics of Dune II with those of Command & Conquer and you will see what I mean.
Electro Body was originally published in Poland in 1992. The next year there was a German shareware release with the strange spelling electroBODY. As Electro Man, it was finally part of the Epic Puzzle Pac in 1994. In 2006, Maciej Miasik recompiled it in DOSBox and released it as freeware, warning that it was not tested under original DOS.
