For some reason, the Amiga never saw an official Boulderdash
release, so this game kind of slipped into the role. Boulderdash
clones for the Amiga are far more often called Mine
than
some variation of the original name.
Emerald Mine was programmed by Klaus Heinz and Volker Wertich, title graphic by Gabi Kittner, music by Holger Gehrmann (Hollywood Poker).
The next year, Kingsoft released Emerald Mine for Commodore 64 and Plus/4, code by Jörg Dierks, sound by Oliver Kläwer. Since the Commodore 64 had an excellent official Boulderdash, and the game was far inferior to the Amiga version, it had little success there.
