Flagger
From all the Minesweeper clones I know, Flagger is the only one where you have to click on each and every mine-less field. The other games all calculate for you and uncover all the neighbors whose safety is obvious. That makes it a bit cumbersome to play, but I still like Flagger.
James A. Sausville is now a celebrity in The Sims scene. He wrote several programs for this game, the first and probably best known being SimWardrobe, and runs the site Paladin's Place, where you can find his programs and objects, both for the original game and The Sims 2. Whether he did anything game related in the ten years in-between is not known.
