RPG/RTS hybrids have become increasingly popular in the Millennium, especially in Europe. Usually these games lean to one or the other side. Konung: Legend of the North was primarily an RPG with some RTS elements. The Legend is an RTS with RPG elements. You collect resources, erect buildings, train units, conduct research, but all the units gain experience and level up. Additionally there are heroes, special units which are either provided by the scenario or recruited in pubs, and which give the player some upgrade choices at levelup. Besides, the whole setting is typically fantasy, as we are used from RPGs.

Footnotes
- Selecting the number a second time centers on the group. Group 0 contains all new units not yet assigned to a group.
- Does not include/work with flying units.
- Very useful if you send a group of heroes somewhere and want them to stay together.
