In 1998, Digital Nightmares created four Windows shareware games for meanwhile defunct online vendor Lomax. Digital Nightmares, that were the brothers Michael and Ulrich Haar (the latter would not long afterwards become technical director for the MMORPG Neocron), Rebecca Ludolphy (graphics), and Holger Niesel (music), though not all of them were involved in all of the projects. The four games were the erotic Qix clone Lovely Girls, the strange 3D puzzle game Mr. Ball, the 2D Tetris clone LomTrixx, which was just the Windows version of PCtris with a new name and title screen, and 3D-LomTris.
