So far, there have been nine numbered and one unnumbered Might and Magic games. They were all in first person view, originally similar to The Bard's Tale and Wizardry, later in true 3D. Day of the Destroyer was the first game that used models instead of sprites. Like most RPG series, they were at home on the Apple ][ first (first two games only) and then switched to the PC as main platform. Anything else was a port.

This is only the core series, the RPG series. There is another series of strategy games situated in the same universe, Heroes of Might and Magic, and there have been occasional forays into the world of action with Crusaders, Warriors, and Legends.
