Games not on the PC

I got the idea to compile this list when I added a page for Gridiron! in August 2004. It was the first time, or so it seemed to me, that I deliberately created a page for a game I would not be able to play. The PC, after all, has always been my main and favorite platform, and I was curious how many games I had already written about that were never ported to this platform.

But it wasn't all that easy. I immediately decided I would ignore all the SNES and other console games. After all, as far as I had played them all, I had played them on my PC, with an emulator. So far, so good. But in the following month, I seriously got into Macintosh games, most of which were never ported to any other platform. They soon made up more than half of the list.

So finally I decided to restrict this list to games that were available on more than one platform, but not on the PC. After all, if a game never gets ported to any other platform, it's not very remarkable that it never got ported to a specific platform.

The list sometimes grows longer, but sometimes shorter as well, since I sometimes find a PC version I did not originally know about, as for example with Playhouse Strippoker or Freedom: Les guerrieres del ombre. In the latter case, even Muriel Tramis had forgotten that her game had been available for PC.

It is also quite interesting to compare the list of games not on the Amiga.
