Jeffrey R. Olson

I could not find out very much about Jeffrey R. Olson. If my information is correct, he got his Ph.D. in experimental physics (Cornell University) in 1993 and worked six years later at the Lockheed Martin Advanced Technology Center, Palo Alto, CA.

He wrote at least two games, both released in 1995 as shareware, or rather donationware, for there is very litle incentive for paying the registration fee.

Alphaman is a roguelike game in a post-apocalyptic setting. It has more advanced ASCII graphics then most other games of this kind.
Ricochet was described by himself as an arena battle game. It can be seen as a variant of the classic cannon game, taking advantage of the computer's ability for complex mathematical calculations.
