There was an Othello version for the NES. This was of course a highly official, licensed affair. You can use it as a board against other players, or play against four different computer enemies. You can choose a time limit, and of course, as in most Japanese games, you enter the name of the player.
Except for one unlicensed version by Australian publisher HES (Home Entertainment Suppliers), there were no other Othellos for the NES.
