At the age of 14 Todd Replogle began spending many quarters at the local video arcades, thus beginning his interest in computers. Todd has been programming IBMs since 1982, and has enjoyed it ever since. Nowadays, programming in C and assembly are his choice programming languages, and does not intend to move up to bigger and better computers unless a job requires it.
Todd spends most of his daytime hours working and attending general eductaion courses at the local junior college, while using what little time he has during the night working on his faithful IBM PS/2 25. Although his life is void of any social life, he does manage to call up a few friends for a heated game of baseball.
Thus Todd Replogle described himself in Caves of Thor (1990). He was sole programmer of Duke Nukem and Duke Nukem II, member of the programming team of Duke Nukem 3D (he especially enjoyed programming the subways), and programmer of the Plutonium Pak. In Redneck Rampage, he is mentioned under "special thanks to".
At some time Todd Replogle quit the gaming industry for good. He now manages his real estate property in Oregon. Asked whether he planed to get back into the games industry, he replied:
No. I'm not sure there is a future for the video game industry. Unless one has the capability of using both the left and right hands independantly, I doubt video games will sell like they used to.
