The Russian 6 Pak was a collection of six games, completely developed by Russian programmers and artists, but for the US market. The introduction to the manual was written by Alexey L. Pajitnov. Similar to Tetris, the games had both puzzle and arcade elements:

Flying Pictures

A strange and somewhat frustrating game that has been compared to Breakout with puzzle elements. As yet I did not even manage to get past the first level.

Crete

Basically a variation of the old 15 puzzle, only here the tiles are part of a maze and you have to arrange them so that Theseus can walk through, at the same time avoiding the minotaur. This is the only pure puzzle game in the bunch, no arcade elements.

Lineman

Arrange pieces of pipe so that they form loops by rotating them. Fun if somewhat pointless, still my second favorite after Fast Ring.

Master of Bombs

The first game I played and put up here. A bit like Trubis, but a bit boring on the long run.

Fast Ring

Connect buttons orthogonally with ribbons that loop. I had some trouble figuring this one out as first, but when I did, it became my favorite in this collection.

Shadows

Shoot asteroids (some of which are invisible) with a crosshair cursor that moves on its own. If Crete is the only pure puzzle game, this is the only pure arcade game. Not very interesting though.

There was a Windows version of the 6 Pak in the same or the next year, and 1997 it was re-released along with Solitaire as Interplay's Classic Collection, for DOS and Windows.
