Takahiro Sumiya's Macintosh version was probably the most influential, at least outside Japan. KSame, Same Gnome, MacStones, and Ronald van Dijk's Amiga version are directly or indirectly based upon it. It reduced the number of colors to three and had a number of tilesets to choose from, including two made especially for black & white Macs.
