No, it has nothing to do with the Space Invader of lore, it is yet another version of Filler, which seems to have been very popular in Russia and the former Soviet Union, though it is little known outside. Unlike Alexander Vikulin's Filler for Windows, it has a very strong AI; even on easy level, it usually beats me. And unlike any other Filler implementation I have played, it clearly distinguishes between taken and untaken rhombs in the graphic display, which can be very helpful.
You can have between four and twelve colors, and you can choose the look of the rhombs (solid, simple, or smart; smart is the default setting and is shown in the screenshot above), most other configuration options were never implemented, or reserved for the registered version, since there is no registration info anywhere within the game or on the website, I suspect the former. The website, which you can access right out of the game, is still up (including the downloads of all the past versions of Space Invader), but very obviously neglected, so it is probably just a matter of time till it is gone.
