As I am writing this, Marko Kleine Berkenbusch is a research assistant in the Department of Physics at the University of Chicago. When he wrote Tätris back in 1997, he had finished Civil Service in his native Germany and was probably just beginning to study.

About a week after I first set up this page, I was contacted by Marko Kleine Berkenbusch. He pointed out to me that my zip archive contained some unnecessary files, furthermore he sent me a later, smaller version of the executable (5.7k), which is now available to the public for the first time.

With this new executable, Tätris is now has its fixed place among the smallest Tetrises ever. It is beaten only by Tore Bastiansen's Small Tetris (which uses ASCII graphics) and Ben Hanke's TinyTris.
