
Tetris! is the only Tetris clone I know that deliberately tries to reproduce the original ASCII Academysoft Tetris of 1986. Since the latter used 40-column mode too (something farely rare with PC Tetrises), it could do a very good job on the Commodore 64, where this was the only mode available.
Torsten Crass keeps a download in .PRG format on his homepage. The version you can download below is in .T64 format and should work in most emulators.
