This is simply a very well done Tetris clone in the strictest sense of the word: it plays just like the original. And it's about the best Tetris game for the Macintosh platform, for about any Mac.
Tetris Max comes with seperate black & white graphics, which are decent, but not overwhelming. Since it takes up more than 1M harddrive space, which is usually scarce on old compacts, I suggest you stick to the original Tetris for these machines.
It is however one of the rare games that display real well on a 512×384 color monitor. There's no problem playing it on a really large monitor either. And of course it will run under system 6.
