In the not too distant future, the earth is devastated by nuclear conflict. The murdering henchmen of the Redemins (merchants) rule the streets.

Take the role of Efrim Kadan, the rebel leader, and try to free the streets of evil. You'll have a powerful motorcycle called "Black Viper 003" with which to roam the streets connecting the few remaining cities.

Due to heavy radiation, your time spent travelling between cities is restricted. There is danger at every turn.

Caution becomes the order of the day since the recruited army of the Redemins has been given the task of eliminating you. Your goal is to fight them, survive, and reach the ancient ruins of the city of Arkham situated in the mountains. If you reach it, you can change the fate of the world…

I got interested in this (as it turned out) rather mediocre shooter game because it is labeled post-apocalyptic. But that's exactly what it is: a label, good for ambient radiation that puts a bit more pressure (or, if you prefer, challenge) on the player, and a welcome excuse for the drab 32-color palette. Full 3D in ECS isn't such a hot idea.

When Black Viper was released, the Amiga platform was already rapidly on the decline (the last issue of Amiga Computing magazine appeared in October 1997), yet the Amiga games market had its last high in this and the following year. Most of these games were never ported to other platforms and are therefore little known outside the Amiga community.
