This was the first game of Arkadiusz Łukszo and Tomasz Konatkowski, with music by Jakub Husak. They published it as freeware under the label Gizmo Magic Software. Gizmo was Łukszo's handle, as Grendel was Konatkowski's. Still in the same year, they would write a game for Mirage Software, Battle Ships. Two years later, Arkadiusz Łukszo wrote another game for them, Ortografia.

The Warsaw Tetris is a nicely done classic Tetris. Somewhat remarkable for a Polish Atari game, all the text is in English. Not much more remains to say except point out the similarities with Tetrix, especially the brick background. I wonder if maybe Miroslav Nemecek had owned an Atari, and took The Warsaw Tetris as his model when he wrote his own game.
