Whale's Voyage, part II, is the sequel to the first part and offers improved technical specifications, PC fitted game play and a complexity unbelievable even by today's standards.
Whale's Voyage II again combined main elements of role-playing, adventure, business simulation and strategy games in a successful mix.
An interesting detail:
There was a Whale's Voyage II Windows version—the first German-language game to "really" run on Windows.Additionally, to the best of our knowledge, Whale's Voyage II was the only game ever to offer a fast SuperVGA 3D engine in a Windows 3.1 window.
Whale's Voyage founded the success of neo software, so it was natural they would follow up with a sequel. But this sequel wasn't quite as successful as the original.
