Xenon 2 is usually considered a huge improvement over its predecessor Xenon. Thoough only one and a half years seperate these two games, the market had changed sufficiently to warrant a different choice of platforms:
This time, there should have been no reason for the PC version to be any different from the original, yet there was. Though graphics were only 16-color anyway (allowing for exactly the same graphics on Amiga and Atari ST) and the port was in VGA, the plantlike structures in the background were omitted, as well as the background textures on the shop screen.
