Kemal Ezcan is a legend within the 8-bit Atari scene, and I doubt that as many games have been created by a single person on any other platform either. This game is a variant of Shisen-Sho, which was incredibly popular among German Atari ST users. Now it was available to those with 8-bit machines as well.
About the differences between the 1989 and 1992 versions, I have no idea, except that the loading screen now had an orange background.
