The company RACINE CINETECHNIK was established in 1979 by it´s
owner Werner Raczkövi. A diplomed fine-mechanics since 1972 and specialised
in mechanical effecfs, he started his apprenticeship as mechanics in 1958.
in the Rosenhügel Studios at the age of 14. After 7 years of work
for the WIEN -FILM, as a mechanics for new developments for AKG, as technican
for fhe ORF and as house-mechanics for the TELEFILM-Wien. Werner Raczkoevi
worked 10 years as mechanics tor the distributor of ARRI, GRASS, KOBOLD,
PEFEGTONE, STEENBECK, etc., for the Co. FRÖMMIG. After which he established
his own Company - RACINE CINETEGHNIK.
The company focuses mainly on sales, rentals, after sales services and
repairs, for all types of mechanical film instruments/machines in the production
sectors and post-production sectors.
Computer-assisted design and precision toolmachines. make it possible
to produce non-existing spare parts, prototypes, special technical props
and effects.
The company has several own developments on rental, such as: Camera
mounts, suction mounts wifh automatically-controlled vacuum pumps, grip
sets, action cases for different types of cameras, camera-spin etc.
Another speciality of RACINE is the development and production of optical
adapters for film, video, microscopes and various other medical instruments.
Zeiss, Sony, the Universitys of Vienna and Salzburg are among the customers
who fully rely on the company.
The company RACINE has earned itself fhe good reputation of being able
to solve, what sometimes seems to be, un-solvable technical requirements,
with imagination and high-tech methods.
